Tangy Cilantro & Mint Chutney

You can find various versions of Cilantro Mint Chutney within different family traditions. This recipe is especially tasty and good to consume in all seasons depending on how spicy you make it. It is good for Vata and Kapha; Increases Pitta if spicy, otherwise it is Tridoshic. This is a refreshing and delicious chutney that goes great with most dishes. It is safe and satisfying to consume during pregnancy as they may crave sour and sweet tasting foods. You can use it as a spread on whole grain bread or with samosas, parathas, rotis, etc. In my home, we use it as an addition to many dishes, but we love to have it on veggie sandwiches when we want something quick to eat.
