During Vastu Shastra students will gain the broad understanding of Spatial Geometry regarding the foundation of directional and structural philosophies. This traditional Vedic system of architecture places a broad importance on the surrounding environment having a direct effect upon the health of both the body and mind. Additionally, Vastu Shastra references texts found on the Indian subcontinent that describe the principles of design, layout, measurements, ground preparation, and special arrangement. Students will learn the placement of specific furniture, deities, yantras, and auspicious and non-auspicious arrangements. In conclusion, Vastu Shastra embraces the ancient knowledge of direction for a more fluid and harmonious atmosphere.
