Traditional Panchakarma: New Perspectives

Traditional Panchakarma is an in-depth theory course surrounding the popular cleansing and clearing treatment known as “The five-fold Therapies”. Panchakarma plays an important role in treating various diseases and restores the client to perfect health. More specifically, these five actions are known as Vamana (Controlled Vomiting), Virechana (Purgation), Basti (Enema), Nasya (Nasal administration), and Raktamokshan (Bloodletting).

This course discusses the proper indications, contraindications, and administration of each of the five treatments listed above. Furthermore, Traditional Panchakarma addresses concerns about incorrect administration and its direct prevention through proper education. Additionally, comparisons of Panchakarma by our Vedic Acharyas regarding the differences and similarities is also enumerated. This course is designed for all Ayurvedic Practitioners and Panchakarma Specialist. Finally, Panchakarma is on our curriculum chiefly for its important role to enhance fertility and numerous health concerns, with the outer benefits to improve the quality of practices in modern times.
