Do you ever wonder if there exists a positive aging process? Does self-care improve women's health? Aging is our perception, but surroundings and society force us to strengthen the mind or manas (psyche) into old age perception.
I did 10 years of data collection analytical research at the Katholic University of Leuven (KUL), Belgium that includes women who go through difficult menopause and women who go through healthy menopause. Women who went through healthy menopause were more confident, healthier, and less frail than women who went through difficult menopause. Did anyone direct their attention to these basic needs of every woman and then we are barking about numbers of breast or uterine cancers? Your hormones are your mind and endocrine system, and one can turn it positively or negatively.
A woman at the age of fifty requires basic yoga and exercise with healthy and cheerful thoughts for the coming years. Women at that age often prefer exercise or yoga in the privacy of their own homes rather than attending classes. Yet why should a woman who approaches middle life feel that her friends will say something or make faces if they know she is following any prescribed course of treatment to know herself vigorous and well, which means to keep young? It is a plain duty towards a healthy and satisfying tomorrow.
A woman who approaches middle age should feel supported by her loved ones in her efforts to follow prescribed courses of treatment to maintain her wellness. it is simply one’s duty towards a healthy and satisfying future. As a woman of fifty slowly let go of material cares and duties of life and contemplates the fruits of these fifty years in her family, friends, and possessions, she need not feel replaced and useless. She has reached the point where she can devote time to herself, regain the strength of every weakened organ, regain a sprightly, buoyant step, and take care of her healthy mind and body for the betterment of her coming years.
Ayurveda is a science of elements and quantum- of mind, body, and soul, and prescribes a special RASAYANA (rejuvenation treatment) after forty when the air element increases, and the fire element decreases. Ayurveda teaches us that, with healthy eating and living habits and supporting the mind, body, and spirit in middle age, we can control the kinetic energy of Air and maintain a balance of Fire and Water elements through Earth and Ether. Ayurveda teaches us about healthy eating and living habits and helps the mind, body, and spirit in middle age.
The span of life increases with good immunity of mind and body. If someone is telling you that you are done after menopause or fifty then that is not true at all.
