L.S. Summer

LS Summer, MA, has been teaching Sanskrit since 2000 at Naropa University in Boulder, CO. She was also a Visiting Instructor at Colorado College from 2005-2008 and taught at the World Center for Languages and Cultures at the University of Denver in the fall of 2015. Her Sanskrit training began at Naropa University, where she received an MA in Buddhist Studies with a concentration in Sanskrit in 1995. Additional study has been completed with Vyaas Houston, founder of the American Sanskrit Institute, and with the esteemed Dr. Ram Karan Sharma. Areas of focus include Buddhist texts, especially the prajñāpāramita; along with Upanishads, Yoga Sutras, and selections from the epic tradition.
