Gia received her doctoral degree in Āyurvedic Medicine from Āyurved Sadhana under the guidance of Dr. Bharat Vaidya, and is also on faculty at the school since 2020. She is a lifelong meditator, and student in Āyurveda, tantra & traditional female-based practices with Dr. Sumit Kesarkar of NLAM (National Library of Ayurvedic Medicine); originally taught by Arun Deva; and the Sanskrit language with Ramadas P. V. of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. She also studied Āyurveda through the classical text of Aṣṭāṅga Hṛdayam with the late Dr. Sanjay Pisharodi; and jyotiṣa (Vedic Astrology) with Sanjay Rath of SoHamsa Śrī Jagannāth Center in India. She received training in yoga and the Vedic sciences from the Sambhava School of Yoga (through Shiva Centre of Latvia).
