First, we will be talking about how to make “Ashwagandha Milk” at home so that anyone can get sound sleep and be fresh in the morning, and if they only have Ashwagandha in their apothecary.

This will help in reducing total stress, and peaceful and restful sleep throughout the night. Nidra in Sanskrit means Sleep, and Devi means Goddess. “Sleepy Time Kshirpak or Nidra Devi Kshirpak” not only supports falling asleep but it works well in insomnia, anger, and instability of the nervous system. It calms down the mind, releases muscle tension, and helps in deep and peaceful sleep.

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is one of the most utilized nerve tonics. It is a Vata and Kapha pacifying Ayurvedic herb that induces and helps as a sleeping aid. Ashwagandha is a Rasayana or rejuvenating herb that also acts as an Aphrodisiac. It works as an anti-anxiety and anti-aging herb and supports general debility and weakness. Ashwagandha also promotes a healthy mood and hence reduces stress. It fosters healthy blood sugar and cholesterol while supporting balanced hormones.
