Infant Ayurvedic Warm Oil Application covers the innumerable benefits of the time tested tradition of baby abhyanga. Students will be equipped with the skill set to support parents with both the theoretical and practical application of warm oil care for infants. Topics covered in this course include, but are not limited to; benefits for baby, the importance of bonding, infant scheduling, safe soaps for infants, preventative care, and when to refer out. The doula students will learn how to guide families through a hands on application of warm oil for their infant. Additionally, the students will gain the knowledge to express the do’s and don’ts of this practice with their clients. How to prepare the baby, parents, and the environment for Infant Ayurvedic Warm Oil Application will also be described in detail.
The importance of keeping a steady schedule for the newborn will also be touched upon in this class. Furthermore, how safe and secure touch calms the nervous system of the baby and enhances immunity is a fantastic portion of Infant Ayurvedic Warm Oil Application.
