Spring 2021 ASV and India Clinical Experience by Live Streaming

In Externship-Internship, client encounter is described as a student having Observation, Direct Hands-On and One-On-One experience with a client. Student is encouraged to develop a stable of clients, that can each receive an initial intake, with three or more follow up visits in order to establish positive outcome experiences.

Observation:  Observing the Teacher and or Ayurvedic Practitioner in a classroom or clinical environment.

Direct Supervision: Working one on one or within a small group of Students having an encounter with a client, with the Teacher and or Ayurvedic Practitioner present. Students will be required to provide recommendations in client assessments.

One-On-One/Direct or Indirect:  Student directly conducting the encounter with the client in a more intimate and professional environment. All Recommendations and Follow ups are supervised directly with the Supervised Practitioner and delivered by the Student. Student is responsible for all recommendations (to be approved by supervisor) and for Scheduling time with Practitioner.

Hands-on Intensive in Spring 2021:

Because COVID -19 has not allowed us to travel to India and gain the authentic Ayurvedic experience, as well students have challenging time to maneuver and get clients for one-on-one (externship/internship) in a semester, we have put together ASV and India Clinic hosted by Dr. Bharat Vaidya, Dr. Ujjvala Kale, Dr. Harita Raut, and Dr. Mohit Pandit.

For our students to gain access to clients and experience encounter requirements, we have assembled and organized this event with our partners in India. Due to these unforeseen circumstances and our Authentic Ayurvedic experience in India being canceled, the cost for this will be $75.00 or $100.00 depending on your individual personal finances. With this money, we will cover the cost of all assistants, doctors, rental places, equipment, and especially 15 days of Ayurvedic herb supply for 36 to 40 patients.
